Calliope captures the Clematis Armandii vines that grow wild on many of the fences around Portland. Most of the year the plant has long, leathery leaves that droop and twist, in Spring large clusters of star-shaped flowers bloom. These vanilla scented blossoms attract bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds.
