Nike: Nike U Global Event + Collateral

Our Role: Concepting, Art Direction, Design + Illustration

Nike Global Events asked us to create a theme around an event. Our idea — Summer Training. With this theme, guests would discover upon arriving at their hotel room that they’d enrolled as students in a week-long intensive course called Nike U. Throughout the week, they received a detailed education in Nike history and culture, innovation, sports, and athletes, while enjoying some local flavor at the same time. We curated room drops for each night of the event, including a newspaper filled with Nike history relevant to the topic of the day. By the end of the week, guests had been trained to think and feel like an athlete. Officially “Nike U” alumni, they felt more connected to the Nike story.
