Hunters FYC Book

Our Role: Creative Direction, Art Direction + Design + Production

For the Hunters book, our objective was to create a beautiful, creative and original FYC piece to showcase the Amazon Prime show – Hunters. The show features an amazing cast, smart writing and a tone heavily influenced by 70s B-movies, comic books and science fiction. We landed on a book that reflects and elevates the series, while highlighting the talent and craft of the show.

The look we developed uses torn paper as a graphic device referencing the way storylines are revealed in the show. Powerful images mix with impactful quotes from the press and script pulls help contextualize the photography. The cover design hints at the tension between the two main characters, Jonah Miller (Logan Lerman) an 18-year-old, pot-dealing, comic-book-loving-Brooklynite-with-anger-issues and Meyer Offerman (Al Pacino) a wealthy and eccentric Holocaust survivor. We open the book with an emotional letter by series creator David Weil, detailing his inspiration for the show. The interior of the book highlights above the line and below the line talent. The end result is a book that honors the tone, hyper-stylized sets and strong color theory of the show.

The book is 100% recyclable, and printed using recycled materials.
