ABOUT US
Founded in 2000, makelike is a multi-disciplinary graphic design studio based out of Portland, Oregon. makelike was originally co-founded by artist/designers Mary Kysar and Topher Sinkinson. Topher departed in 2022 to pursue independent art, design and build projects; he can be reached here for inquiries. Our studio’s design mission is to create work that is unique, sophisticated and covetable. We started our product line in 2009, with a focus on specialty wallpapers. Today, we also design, illustrate and produce custom patterns and wallpaper for interior design and architectural clients that have specific needs.
The makelike studio generates art direction, graphic design, pattern design and illustration for publishing, editorial, marketing, retail, exhibition, product development and identity & brand applications for clients big and small, near and far. The makelike shop illustrates, designs and produces our own line of luxury hand-screenprinted wallpapers. These are available for purchase directly from us in our online shop, or at several stockists around the world.
